There are 3 ways that you can install vMac. Using any of these methods will install vMac into the Program Files\vMac folder, and add vMac to your Start Menu. 1. Open (AKA run) the Setup program (This may not work under Windows NT) 2. Open Windows Explorer, right click on the Install file, and select Install. 3. Go into Control Panel, open Add/Remove Programs, click the Windows Setup tab, click the Have Disk button, click the Browse button, and select the file named Install. Note: It will put CDEnable.vxd in Windows\System, and CDEnable.sys in Windows\System32\Drivers. The CDEnable.vxd file is required for use under Windows 95. The CDEnable.sys file is required for use under Windows NT. Both files will be installed regardless of the operating system you are using. Windows 95 doesn't have a System32 or Drivers folder, so they will be created if they don't already exist. Don't worry, this shouldn't cause any problems.
